With our main office located in Taipei Taiwan, Aeroic is supported by a dedicated facility. Located in the small, pollution free city of ShinYang close to Wuhan, Henan Province in central China, the factory building itself comprises a 2,400 Square meter (26,000 Square foot) dedicated composite production and testing facility. Spread over two floors with the upper floor reserved for full-sized aircraft projects, the lower floor is dedicated to the manufacture of Model Aircraft and fixed wing drones. The China facility is headed up by one of the most experienced composite aircraft – full sized and model - makers in China

Frankly, making composite model aircraft can be a messy business, so in the design of the factory and the process flow, great care has been taken to ensure good dust extraction and the separation of ‘clean’ Versus ‘dirty processes with each process having its own dedicated area. Worker comfort is also an important consideration with temperature control in all the needed areas, good rest areas and lunch provided daily.

The introduction of advanced quality control processes and audits has been a major task over the past two years and has been very successful; resulting in higher quality products and far less rejection rate. SOP posters are on every wall in every process room and SOP “Bibles” are available for any questions.

Production:

The basic process flow is: Mould cleaning, polishing and preparation – Mould masking – mould painting - fabric cutting – Fabric kits – first stage layup and mould joining – second stage layup and mould joining – Curing in 2 x curing ovens – parts tempering – parts removal – Inspection parts trimming – control surface gap seals - small precision work and fitting – inspection - Test assembly – final inspection – packing. Each of these processes has its own dedicated room or area.
